Our project Anónime -whose repertoire is anonymous and written in the feminine language- invites us to imagine what modesty was like in the feminine cultural world of the late 15th and early 16th centuries in the Christian kingdoms of the Iberian Peninsula.
The desire to broaden our view towards a reconstruction of a more diverse history, towards a more inclusive history, led us to look for alternative sources to documentary sources using elements linked to other performing arts (such as dance and theatre) and oral tradition.
In Anonymous we make an interpretation that thinks about the musical phenomenon as something permeable to the cultural context in which it took place, which was transformed with it and drank from everything that surrounded it.
